Masks Required
Please bring your own if you have one with ear loops. If not, we got you “covered”. Yes, you have to wear it for the whole service. No, there are no exceptions.
You could spread COVID-19 to others even if you do not feel sick. Everyone should wear a cloth face cover when they have to go out in public.
Cloth face coverings should not be placed on young children under age 2 or anyone who has trouble breathing. For this reason, we are not doing children hair-cuts or providing service to those who are unable to wear a mask.
The cloth face cover is meant to protect other people in case you are infected.
Continue to keep about 6 feet between yourself and others. The cloth face cover is not a substitute for social distancing.
Screening
Before your appointment, we’ll ask you to confirm that you don’t have any Covid-19 symptoms. You’ll find the form to complete that here.
When you arrive, please wait in your car and text your stylist. They’ll let you know when you can come in where you’ll be given hand sanitizer and your temperature will be taken.
If you have ANY symptoms or are running a temperature of 100.4° or higher, please stay home. If you arrive with any symptoms or a temperature, we’ll send you home.
Be alert for symptoms. Watch for fever, cough, shortness of breath, or other symptoms of COVID-19. This is especially important since you will be breaking physical distance of 6 feet during your service.
Take your temperature if symptoms develop. Don’t take your temperature within 30 minutes of exercising or after taking medications that could lower your temperature, like acetaminophen.
Follow CDC guidance if symptoms develop.
For your safety every person who works at RAH is screened prior to starting work and will not work if they have a temperature or any Covid-19 symptoms.
service changes
To help minimize appointment time, please arrive with clean & dry hair.
Blow drying will only be done if required by your service.
No face-touching services are allowed at this time.
No walk-ins. Please book an appointment.
social distancing
We’re making an effort to abide by social-distancing guidelines at work and at home. We ask that you do the same and practice social-distancing both in the salon and in our community.
Put distance between yourself and other people outside of your home. Remember that some people without symptoms may be able to spread virus.
Stay at least 6 feet (about 2 arms’ length) from other people.
Do not gather in groups.
Stay out of crowded places and avoid mass gatherings.
Keeping distance from others is especially important for people who are at higher risk of getting very sick.
Hand-washing
You’ll be asked to use hand sanitizer when you arrive for your appointment. Please remember that hand sanitizer is not a replacement for proper hand-washing.
Please wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
